GB9 Leagues Goes Live Today

GB9 Leagues, Britains first official 9 Ball League is launched today. In association with Rileys Snooker and Pool and several Independent clubs, GB9 Leagues will run in over 120 Clubs throughout Great Britain.
Its aim to attract over a thousand members to play team league 9 Ball, and a further 256 to play in Regional Teams to qualify for the main GB9 Ball Tour.

Final Four Set for Semi Finals

The first final four match-up at the Predator International 10-Ball Tour featured two men who have faced one another across the Baize many times. Niels Feijen and Marcus Chamat met in a match that belonged to Feijen most of the way. Feijen began by putting a 4-pack on Chamat so that he was halfway home to the magic number of eight racks before Chamat ever left the gate.

Day Two News from Predator International 10-Ball Tour

The second day of the Predator International 10-Ball Tour began with a big match right out of the gate. The luck of the draw found friends and traveling companions Mika Immonen (Finland) and Charlie Williams (USA) on the Kozoom show table.  This match began as a neck and neck battle until Williams caught a gear in the ninth game and dominated the balance of the match. Appleton and Majid Fall in Ten Ball Showdown

World Ten Ball Champion and World Number 1, Darren Appleton and partner Imran Majid fell short of victory in the £10,000 Scotch Doubles showdown against Karl Boyes and Chris Melling.

Club 147 in Leicester will once again host top flight pool this weekend as we see the first event promoted by Tonic Promotions.

Great Britain Win European Nations Cup

A team made up of two World Champions and two further International pool stars have won the first ever European Nations Cup.
Daryl Peach, Darren Appleton, Imran Majid and Karl Boyes flew the flag for Britain out in Kielce, Poland and have come away with yet another International title.

Form? Or Just Confidence?

Why can’t the top three or four players be beaten on a regular basis? Many factors have an influence over this issue. Imran is likely to get a grande slam (lastest news on GB 9-Ball Tour) because of his experience, confidence, equipment, practice time and overall skill. Yes, there are a number of others who, when Majid may have an off day, may sneak through the fence. However, I think a lot of it is practice under pressure.
