Day Two News from Predator International 10-Ball Tour

The second day of the Predator International 10-Ball Tour began with a big match right out of the gate. The luck of the draw found friends and traveling companions Mika Immonen (Finland) and Charlie Williams (USA) on the Kozoom show table.  This match began as a neck and neck battle until Williams caught a gear in the ninth game and dominated the balance of the match. Appleton and Majid Fall in Ten Ball Showdown

World Ten Ball Champion and World Number 1, Darren Appleton and partner Imran Majid fell short of victory in the £10,000 Scotch Doubles showdown against Karl Boyes and Chris Melling.
Once again the fantastic Club 147 was the host for this enthralling nights entertainment. The main event kicked off at 8pm Saturday 15th August to a packed house of american pool fans. Appleton and Majid Hungry for Win

Club 147 in Leicester will once again host top flight pool this weekend as we see the first event promoted by Tonic Promotions.

Great Britain Win European Nations Cup

A team made up of two World Champions and two further International pool stars have won the first ever European Nations Cup.
Daryl Peach, Darren Appleton, Imran Majid and Karl Boyes flew the flag for Britain out in Kielce, Poland and have come away with yet another International title.

World Stars Converge on China

The world’s best professional 9-ball players are currently competing in the 2009 China Open 9-ball tournament.
The tournament, which is part of the new WPA World Tour, features World number 1, Ralf Souquet plus the reigning 9-ball and 10-ball World Champions in Daryl Peach and Darren Appleton.
Ricky Yang the winner of the first WPA ranking event earlier this month in the Philippines is seeded 11th for this event and will obviously be looking to capitalise on the form he had in the Philippines recently when he defeated Jeff de Luna 11-4.
