GB9 Leagues Goes Live Today

GB9 Leagues, Britains first official 9 Ball League is launched today. In association with Rileys Snooker and Pool and several Independent clubs, GB9 Leagues will run in over 120 Clubs throughout Great Britain.
Its aim to attract over a thousand members to play team league 9 Ball, and a further 256 to play in Regional Teams to qualify for the main GB9 Ball Tour.

Qualifying Rounds Complete at Womens World Championships

The qualifying rounds are over and the main event has begun at the sports complex of the Shenyang Jianzhu University in Shenyang. The day was highlighted by the Grand Opening ceremony where local government and sports officials welcomed the players and fans to the event.

Opening Day at Kappa Women’s World 9-Ball Championships

The first day at the Kappa 2009 Women’s World 9-Ball Championships began with a press conference. Local officials from Shengyeng welcomed the players to the tournament as well as recognising and thanking sponsors.
64 Female players are taking part in this years event and in the first round will be split into 8 groups of 8 players, each group will feature one seeded player drawn from the WPA Rankings. The GB 9 Ball Tour Committee has lodged a bid for a Sport England Small Grant to support developments in 2010.
