Lucasi Tour Stop 34The 34th stop of the 2009-2010 Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was hosted in Lakewood, CO, at Greenfields Pool & Sports Bar, March 20.  The $500 added event attracted 35 players in a double elimination 8-ball format on 7-foot Dynamo bar boxes.  Tony Piazza (Ft. Collins, CO) ended his run to the hot seat by outpointing Mark Morgan (Ft. Collins, CO) 5-2 in the A-side semifinals and Adam King (Ft. Collins, CO) 5-1 in the A-side finals.  On the B-side, Mark Morgan was eliminated at 5th place at the hands of Mark Haddad (Westminster, CO) 5-1, joined by Steve Chan (Lakewood, CO) – a 5-3 victim of Ruben Silva Jr. (Colorado Springs, CO).  Haddad then ousted Silva at 4th place by a 5-3 margin.  Mark Haddad further won a trip to the tourney finals by virtue of his B-side finals win over Adam King (Ft. Collins, CO) 5-4.  The tourney finals showcased Tony Piazza versus Mark Haddad, but Piazza dominated play with a 5-1 first-set win for the title!

By virtue of Mark Haddad being the highest-finishing ACS member in the event, he qualified for a free 8-Ball singles entry into the 2010 ACS Nationals in Las Vegas – courtesy of the ACS.  The ACS wishes to thank sponsors Lucasi Hybrid Cues, Championship Billiard Fabric, Nick Varner Signature Cases, Ozone Billiards and Pool Cue Guru for their support in donating “Value-In-Kind” product for this and all stops on the Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour. All entries in the Tour are also entered into a drawing in June for a $1,000 Lucasi Hybrid Cue, courtesy of Ozone Billiards.  Sponsorship opportunities and tour stop openings are still available for the 2009/2010 All American Tour by contacting the ACS.

The Tour moves south to Port Charlotte, Florida, on Saturday, April 10, for a $500-added 8-ball stop at Q’s Sports Bar & Girl (contact Ken Coulter at 941-585-9600).
