Next up was defending champion Sayginer against Japan’s Nobuyasu Sakai. They alternated point by point, and as they neared the end, Sakai kept his cool and celebrated his first win as he beat the Prince of Turkey Seyginer by the score of 10:8. But Semih came back against Lee Choong Bok in the next match. This time he seemed more focused, and with one loss, he desperately needed this win to move on. In a fierce battle, Lee earned 9 points and was so close to his first win while Semih looked nervously on. Did Semih get energized by the cheering fans?  He made a terrific run of  4 points and proved that he is indeed the top world player and earns his first win.
