Raj Hundal, who it has to be said was the favourite, has defeated Ricardo Jones 25-17 in their £100-per-man 10 Ball challenge match.

The match that was also finished in very fast time and was an absolute classic, Hundal went into a 5-0 lead early on and from that stage forward hardly looked back. Not once did Jones manage to take the lead away from Hundal although he did experience a very close shave when Ricardo managed to get the match back to 15-13.

Raj played some fantastic pool with some awesome kick shots from difficult positions as well as a very tight safety game.

It was good to see the game played in the right manner with big breaks and a winner break format.

There is due to be a second leg of this match later in the year when Ricardo Jones will travel to Raj Hundal’s home club. More details to follow.
