The inaugural European Nations Cup is underway in Kilece, Poland. 18 European nations are represented at this tournament including a very strong team from Great Britain.

The British team made up of World Champions, Daryl Peach and Darren Appleton plus Imran Majid and Karl Boyes have drawn the host nation Poland in the first round of the double elimination team competition.

The format has not been released but it seems two players from each team compete in best of three set matches against a single opponent, two set wins gives your team a point. However, there is also individual tournaments in 8-ball, 9-ball and straight pool.

The overall winners of the title will pick up €6000 and a place in the World Nations Cup scheduled for next year.
